In the heart of the Languedoc Roussillon at the foot of the Cévennes you’ll find the charming guesthouse Les Trois Comtes. A hidden pearl with spacious rooms, old doors, high ceilings and window shutters. This beautiful accommodation is run by the Dutch couple Wybrich and Gerard who started a new adventure in France after their career as theatre directors . The 300 year old manor house was built by a rich silk merchant and renovated a few years ago. The luxury rooms and suites are all furnished in a classy chic style with a touch of Paris grandeur. The entry hall is dominated by an impressive stairway and a beautiful cast iron balustrade. During my stay I was running up and down the stairs with my camera and tripod. I could’nt stop capturing the rooms and suites, and the stunning Provencal veranda and garden. The shoot was a physical workout and I was struggling with shoulder and backpain. But after three days photographing the effort was worth it! Publication next year, can’t wait to see the pictures in a magazine!
