What do you want to be when you grow up
I really didn’t know! I wanted to be an actress, journalist, decorator, writer, flight attendant or a tourist guide. But I finally completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Education and became a teacher.
After a long and fulfilling career I started my own Interior Design Business in the Netherlands. I have always had a huge passion for styling and decorating and I’ve been buying and selling interior accessoires and antiques for several years.
Antique hunting in France was quite exciting and while taking pictures of my treasure finds, I fell in love with photography. Vintage and travel shooting with my camera became a very inspiring and favorite activity.
To develop my technical skills to the next level I took classes (School voor Fotografie) and I bought a brand new full frame Canon EOS M50 camera. After completing my course I dived into freelance photography.
My expertise ranges from interior to still life to architecture as well as portrait and landscape photography. But shooting interiors is my favorite challenge. I love capturing the beauty and ambiance of a space, and I can get absorbed in the process of styling and composition.
